What is the Nordica Dobermann SLR-N Pro Evo? It is… a ski. It is a slalom ski for the masses. That is to say it isn’t a real SL ski. But it is one adapted to the general public. As its twin brother the SLR-N Power Evo it features everything but the binding release scale. The only difference between the two is that in the Power model the release scale climbs up to 14 where the Pro «just» stays at 12. Trust me when I say most of skiers out there will have enough ski under their feet if they choose the Pro.

The Nordica Dobermann Spitfire Pro-N Pro Evo is some sort of an hybrid ski in the Expert category in the race range as the Spitfire EDT-N Pro Evo is in the Pro category. The idea is similar using a wide profile for a race ski and the same time it is focused on quite short radius turns, although the longest size falls in the middle of GS and SL skis for the general public.

Yes, you read it right. This is a review of the Nordica Dobermann Spitfire EDT-N Pro EVO. It should be simply called the Nordica Spitfire Pro but someone at Nordica went off the rails one day and added a few letters here and there. The result is a mess but if they don’t care it’s up to them. They sell this stuff, not me.
The Nordica Dobermann Spitfire EDT-N Pro EVO is the only model we’ll review here at skireviewer.com since it is the only civilized model in the Race Pro range. The other two are the two FIS models, one GS and one SL. And they are not skis for the general public whatsoever. The only left model is this one.

The Nordica Dobermann Spitfire Ti-N Pro P.R. Evo is one of the two offered models at the bottom line for the race skis. As it stands out it follows the incredibly nonsense naming convention started by the Nordica folks. If they follow this path in less than ten years we’ll see a ski which it’s name will use all the letters in the alphabet. Wait and see.

The Nordica Dobermann Spitfire CA EVO is the last model in the Race range at Nordica. The base for this model is the Spitfire Ti-N P.R. Evo, which is in the same intermediate offering. They both share many concepts and their profiles are identical. However, the inner bits are what make them different. The construction method is almost the same as well as the core. However, there is an important difference in this last part.
