The Vist Super Front Four is a very special Race Carver. And that has always meant a GS ski adapted for civil use. A ski designed for long wide turns, high speed and beyond. The Vist Super Front Four complies with that essential premise in this category, but fortunately it does so along with some more things.

As for this next 2014-2015 season, the Vist Super Front Tre has been superseded by the new Vist Race SL. You can find the Test / Review for this model here.

The Vist Super Front Tre is quite probably the best SL ski available today. Yes. Straightforward. I have no problem by saying this. I can be wrong since I haven’t tested all available SL skis from this season. However, I’ve been skiing for several seasons, and I have done it on many, many SL skis. None, absolutely none, of those are as good as the Vist Super Front Tre. The only one that can be put somewhere near the SF3 is its cousin, the Nava SL. I haven’t found an SL from Rossignol, nor Dynastar, nor Atomic, nor Fischer (to name the ones I’ve owned) that are similar to it. The only common characteristic among them is that they are all SL skis.

The Vist Super Mountain One is one of the greatest multipurpose skis in the market. It is the easiest and most comfortable ski in the Vist range. But don’t be fooled because of that behaviour. Have you found a nice and narrow zip line of bumps? With the Vist Super Mountain One, a piece of cake. Would you like to train a bit your side-sliding skills? Yep, you guessed it. The Vist Super Front Two is one of the two general public oriented GS skis from Vist. However, we should keep in mind this is a fast, powerful, racing ski. It’s got an excellent medium radius turn with an unbelievable clean cut feel (a bit thin, though). On the edge, it transmits a very pleasant sensation of control and precision. Again, in wide open turns the sensations are the same as in the medium turns. Even though is not as fast as the old GS model, the stability is the same.

In the 2011-2012 season’s test that I wrote for a popular Spanish website, I described the Vist Cross Over Two as the wolf and the lamb put together. And I just can say that the difference with the 12-13 (as well as the 13-14) models is that the wolf has been completely unleashed. The reason can be found in the proper and well measured incorporation of the rocker technology. That shovel can literally eat whatever it may found. It doesn’t care if the snow is hard, soft, deep or melt. The wolf is always hungry.
